WE’VE MOVED IN—TO 1941 PRESERVATION OAK DRIVE

But, it’s still in a bit of a mess!!

The garage still looks pretty much like this….but things in the rest of the house are improving as stuff is put away.
.

Here’s what it looked like as you came in the front door:

Every room was stuffed with boxed…..our offices almost unusable!

We kept the kitchen clear, but we had to eat at the raised deck because the dining room was solid boxes.

We couldn’t hook up the washer and dryer because the plumbing needed work…that’s in, now.

The major “sanctuary” in the house was the Master Bedroom, although even here the boxes lined one wall….

and this photo doesn’t make it look much different than the rest of the house…..but it was.

More recently, we’ve had the sheetrock guys in to extend our wall in the kitchen, and the cabinet has been ordered for next week.  This is how it looked from the living room…..

And they were still working in the kitchen

Today the texture guy was in, and he made REAL changes!

This was up to prevent the sprayer from texturing the furniture, the floor, and everything else in the room.  In the kitchen, he was taping up protection

Pretty quick, we’ll have the paint on that wall…..and the cabinet man (you talk to the owner himself at Armstrong Cabinets in Chico) says he’ll be hanging our new cabinet (matching the old one already up there) next week.

Things are coming together!
