WE’RE MOVING!! DID ANYONE NOT KNOW THAT, YET?
After five years at 3647 Bentwood Cove Drive:

.
We’ll be moving to Oregon—next week, in fact. Van loads on Tuesday (currently predicted to be sunny - YAY!), we clean the house and sign the papers on Wednesday, and then we drive away on Thursday morning.
.
We’ll spend that night with Jan and TJ in Kansas City, and on Friday we drive to Loveland, Colorado. There we’re staying with Calvin and Amy Gane - Amy is a former student at PUC. On Sabbath, we’re going to revisit some of our favorite places from graduate school days in Fort Collins, especially Rocky Mountain National Park.

On Sunday morning we leave early for Boise, Idaho where we’ll stay the night in a motel that serves biscuits and gravy for breakfast and has free wireless Internet access!! On Monday, we drive to Bend, Oregon and our house (for the time being) at 20636 Songbird Lane (Zip - 97702):

WHY are we going to BEND, OREGON? Well, it’s a beautiful place, as you can see from photos at the link. But, that isn’t the real reason. We want to be near the granddaughter - that’s the whole story:

Thought so.
P.S. I haven’t forgotten the posts from Africa that I haven’t done yet—one about the Mara Timbo camp, one or two on other days on the Masai Mara and the creatures we saw, one on our overnight train trip to Mombasa, another on the days we spent in that city and in a wonderful resort on the Indian Ocean, a couple more about other adventures on the canals of Wales, and a final post about our 18-hour day in Paris, ending up on the Eiffel Tower at midnight!! PLUS…..there will be links to Smug Mug so you can see all my photos and watch the videos, too. Keep checking back - I can’t do any of that until we’re safely in Oregon and I have access to my stored photos and videos (yes, they’re backed up!).
