MURDER IS A “MORALLY JUSTIFIABLE SOLUTION”, SAYS….............WHO?

Oh, Go Ahead and take a guess…....

Let’s see….....a Neo-Conservative talking about a head of state he doesn’t like? Nope.

A Pro-Lifer, talking about an abortionist that won’t stop doing them? Nope.

A Logging Company executive, talking about a bunch of hippies that are chaining themselves to trees he wants to cut? Nope.

A gun-crazed NRA member talking about a gun-grabbing, Second Amendment-hating member of Congress? Nope.

Oh, you’re never going to guess…..I’ll just have to tell you!

It’s someone who loves life!! Oh, yes indeed—someone who loves life so indiscriminately that if you try to save human beings by doing medical testing on animals, then murder is justified.

I know you think I’m kidding…...or exaggerating…...or lying. To be blunt, that’s only because you are ignorant of “the movement” today. Consider:

(Senate Environment and Public Works) Committee Chairman James Inhofe, R-Okla., questioned Vlasak (Jerry Vlasak, a Southern California physician who is spokesman for the North American Animal Liberation Press Office) about a statement Vlasak had made defending the assassination of medical researchers. Once again, Vlasak justified violence. For “people who are hurting animals and who will not stop when told to stop,” he answered, one option would be murder, a “morally justifiable solution.”

But, isn’t it an awfully broad brush I’m using? Is tarring the whole animal wacko movement really justified? I asked myself that, too…....but then the deafening silence from “the movement” convinced me. Where are the protests? Where are the official statements from the Animal Welfare groups repudiating the idea that murder would be justifiable to stop the use of animals in medical research? For that matter, where are the protests of the actual bombings that have occurred already? What!! You hadn’t heard? Funny thing, neither had I….which means that maybe the brush should be a little wider…...maybe the tar should extend to the mainstream media in our country…...

Please think back to when violence was used by an unhinged individual against an abortionist - that is, against a man who was making his living by killing unborn human beings. Virtually every news outlet in the country pinned responsiblity on every pro-life organization and individual they could name, despite the fact that there was a FLOOD of condemnation of the violence and murder from very nearly 100% of those involved in pro-life and anti-abortion activity.

Now we have an official spokesman for an animal rights organization testifying before a Senate Committee and expliticly justifying murder of medical researchers, and he gets a pass…..you be the judge. IS there a double standard in place?
