JOHN DERBYSHIRE CALLED IT “SMILE, YOU’RE A TALKING HEAD”.....

That was on THE CORNER at noon yesterday.

The story is that the BBC made a HUGE mistake on live TV…...and, of course, there is tape!

I’m not sure that all the facts are out, yet—the FELLOW YOU’RE ABOUT TO SEE may be the taxi driver who brought the real guest to the BBC studios, or he may not be.

It doesn’t matter - he is supposed to be an expert brought in to comment on the lawsuit between the Beatles company, Apple Records, and Apple Computer. Be SURE to watch the first part of the clip very carefully…..this is just PRICELESS!!

And hopefully changes the way you think about any “talking head” you ever see in the future!

UPDATE: The BBC is not only incompetent at getting the right “Guy” on the air, but they’re so uptight they can’t laugh at themselves and say “Oooooooops!”

Instead, they bring back the job applicant (not taxi driver) they mistakenly put on the air as a computer expert, and then are needlessly cruel to this University graduate from the Congo, whose first language is not English.

BADLY DONE, BBC….BADLY DONE. But why should we expect anything better from the (adjectives deleted) MSM, these days?
