DOES ANYONE REMEMBER “THE BIRDS”?

Daphne du Maurier wrote the story, and then ALFRED HITCHCOCK put it on film.

Maybe there’s a history to explain this primal fear….......?

A S. African anthropologist is re-examining the TAUNG CHILD and the NEWS STORY reports that he thinks raptors did the poor kid in.

Lee Berger, of the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, said he had re-examined the fossil skull of a possible human ancestor known as the Taung child after reading an Ohio State University study of modern eagles in West Africa, which pierce monkey skulls with their talons.

He found traces of cuts behind the eye sockets of the Taung fossil, which was found among fossils of small monkeys that showed signs of having been killed by a predatory bird.
